Just when you thought your wallet couldn't get any emptier, yet another Star Wars hardcover novel is on it's way. Legendary EU author Timothy Zahn unleashes the long-awaited 'Outbound Flight' at your local bookstore on October 25.

In case you've been hiding in a cave on Tatooine for the last fourteen years, Zahn is responsible for what is widely considered the best Star Wars novel, 'Heir to the Empire,' first published in 1991. The novel's success lit a rocket beneath the Star Wars franchise that had laid essentially dormant since 'Return of the Jedi' bowed in 1983, and spawned a lengthy line of 'Expanded Universe' novels that Lucasbooks continues to produce. Zahn went on to add two more books in the 'Heir' trilogy, as well as the Thrawn duology and 'Survivor's Quest,' a continuation of the story that begins with 'Outbound Flight.'
