Trailer: Awake

Check out the theatrical trailer for Hayden Christensen's new film, Awake. A psychological thriller, Awake's story is told around a common occurrence called "anesthetic awareness", a horrifying real phenomenon wherein a patient retains full consciousness during surgery with pain and explicit recall of intra-operative events. Many of these victims suffer extreme post-traumatic stress disorder for the rest of their lives. In some cases, victims of anesthetic awareness cannot get past that traumatic episode and commit suicide.

Awake hits theaters November 30th.

Oevin November 5, 2007 Comment 3 hmmm, it's certainly an interesting premise, but I may wait to see a review or two before I do as the trailer just doesn't intrigue me as much as, say, The Prestige did.
