JediJef Comment 1 "We?re really after kids: everything?s a video game now."
That frightens me. DarthDan Comment 2 I was looking forward to Red Tails, but now I'm totally jazzed.
The sentence you mention, Jef, really didn't make since with anything that he was saying about the project. At least for me, anyway. More than likely, he didn't get out exactly what he was trying to say. In digesting the portion that he talked about on Red Tails, he was pobably tying to say that young men (16-20 year olds) will probably be able to strongly relate to these young airmen, being inside this cockpit for the first time and figuring everything out like a video game. When you think about how young these pilots were, it's just incredible. Flying these awesome machines and protecting these bombers, especially to such a young mind, probably was exactly like a video game! Aside from the confusing sentence about video games, with how McCallum painted the picture in my mind's eye about Red Tails, I've been Endorian Woodified! RebelFox Comment 3 "We?re really after kids: everything?s a video game now."
That frightens me. I agree with Master Jef. Where before I was very excited about the red tails picture, now I have some serious concerns. The space battle over Naboo from episode 1 jumps to mind. |
