Forever Comment 1 That is so cool. I would certainly go to the theater to see it.
Master Devwi has a cool blog but I can't comment there. DarthDan Comment 2 "A most informative muppet, this Master Devwi is."
But yes, I agree. I'm so down with camping out for a television pilot checking into theaters before hitting the small screen. Star Wars probably stands alone in being able to pull this off with blockbuster success. RebelFox Comment 3 Spanking fine ass journalism, Master Devwi. Maybe this guy should come work for SWAC?
I really hope they do put the pilots for both series in films. Peole will flock to this in droves. RebelFox Comment 4 Smah! I meant to say, "I really hope they do put the pilots for both series in theaters."
Jef Comment 5 Cool. Its about time for another excuse to camp a theater line.
Kupcake Comment 6 QUOTE(JediJef @ November 16 2007, 08:02 AM) Cool. Its about time for another excuse to camp a theater line. Yeah, maybe JediJef & DarthDan can have a"Sleepover" Leia style at the theater. Master Devwi Comment 7 Thanks, but you should really give credit to TF.N. I'm just "passing the word along."
Jef Comment 8 QUOTE(Kupcake @ November 16 2007, 08:11 AM) Yeah, maybe JediJef & DarthDan can have a"Sleepover" Leia style at the theater. Only if there's lots of girls in slave Leia costumes. DarthDan Comment 9 QUOTE(Kupcake @ November 16 2007, 09:11 AM) Yeah, maybe JediJef & DarthDan can have a"Sleepover" Leia style at the theater. Migged up. . . RebelFox Comment 10 Thanks, but you should really give credit to TF.N. I'm just "passing the word along."
Forgive me if I'm out of line here, Masters Jef and Dan, but it appears to me that SWAC is first and foremost about Star Wars from the fan perspective (arguably the true perspective, seeing as the creator is sometimes out of touch with his own work.) Master Devwi posted an interesting blog where the SWAC Council first learned of the latest developments concerning the Star Wars television franchise and its speculated 2008 debut. Dan was giving your blog mad props for being informative as a way of celebrating your obvious attention to Star Wars news. SWAC's refreshing take on keeping up with Star Wars, not to mention their devotion to fan perspective, is a breath of fresh air when put alongside the politically correct doldrums of TFN and official site news. These guys aren't afraid to add a little personality and originality into their reporting, something TFN and the official site could take a lesson in. Darth Pyriel Comment 11 Isn't Lucas and Lucas arts rich enough? Can't they just do something that only requires you to relax in the comfort of your own living room? No, of course not...
As A SW nut I would love to see anything SW on the big screen but this is computer animation folks! And lets face it, it's not like we don't know whats going to happen... I am pretty disapointed that Lucas would be so greedy.... "Hey George... if your listening... booooooooo!Between the network deals and ratings around the world, I think thats enough. We as the loyal fans deserve to not have to pay 10 - 15 dollars a ticket for your wallet..." Don't get me wrong... once again I love the idea of the theatre size viewing experience. My big question is will the premier be 1/2 an hour or a full two????I am torn on this one folks... |
