Pardon Me, Your Parts Are Showing

Not very surprising is the news that Kotobukiya, responsible for the recent series of gorgeously detailed Star Wars Saga character prepainted model kits, is now expanding into the realm of vehicle models starting off with the iconic Incom T-65 X-wing starfighter.

With this kit, Kotobukiya has created another uber-detailed, prepainted, and snap-fit model that not only includes a diorama base, several mini-figures, and equipment but it also features removable parts so you can have your own X-wing model as if it came straight of one the Incredible Cross-Sections of Star Wars books.

The X-Wing measures 12 2/3" long, in popular 1/35 military scale, and has "cutaway" parts that remove to reveal the inner workings. Over 100 removable parts help to create a full "cross section" in three dimensions!

This kit looks amazing and hopefully once it is available in July I'll be able to get my hands on one.

That kit look amazing! I would be more excited though if they were to release a star destroyer (smaller scale (obviously!)).

Nice job on the artical as well!
