The City of Brotherly Love... and Star Wars
Anyone living in or near Philadelphia is in for a treat this spring as the Franklin Institute opens it's 100,000 square foot Star Wars exhibit this Saturday, February 9th.
Opening festivities will include costumed stormtroopers (presumably 501st) and Jedi taking part in movie scene reenactments throughout the museum.
The exhibit itself includes such relics as the original Yoda puppet from Empire Strikes Back and Darth Vader's helmet from Episode III as well as miniature versions of many of the starfighters and ships (including a full-size interactive replica of the Millenium Falcon's cockpit!).
The exhibit will run from February 9th to May 4th, 2008. So anyone that can should definitely check it out while it lasts.
