The Return of the Mace

In amongst the poorly written stories of pop culture, MTV has posted some rather exciting news.

As we all know Samuel L. Jackson loved being in Star Wars movies, and so when MTV asked him about his possible involvement in the Clone Wars CG series, Jackson responded with great interest, as apparently did George Lucas.

One hopes more of the Prequel trilogy cast will sign on to voice their characters in the series, but as of right now there are only three (Anthony Daniels, Matthew Wood, and now Samuel Jackson).

Hopefully more original actors will join the bandwagon, though I'm not holding my breath.

Sam was always something of a fanboy actor.

MARK HAMILL!!!!

He doesn't have to be Luke (well he wouldn't be), but he is one of THE best voice actors in the biz and you can't tell me that wouldn't go over like free cake at a fat girl convention.

I really liked Samuel Jackson's voice over work for Grand Theft Auto,
and I think even just a few SW Alumni can really bring a sense of fidelity to the production.
