The Fountain of Knowledge

Are you a Star Wars fanboy? Do you feel a burning desire to learn more about the greatest galaxy, far far away? If you answered 'no' to either question, you're reading the wrong website. If you answered 'yes,' and happen to have a spare $75, then Steve Sansweet's upcoming The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia is for you.

Weighing in at 800 pages, don't expect to pick up this revised edition of Sansweet's original encyclopedia (pictured left) for a light read (or indeed to pick it up lightly), rather hope that the world's biggest Star Wars merchandise collector can once again deliver as a chronicler of our favorite universe.

The Encyclopedia will be released in Q4 2008 (Amazon has November 4th), giving the poorer of us time to sell that unneeded kidney with enough time to recover and acquire this tome on release day.

	JediJef February 14, 2008 Comment 1 I may have to pick that one up, even though I tend to shy away from encyclopedic compilations since the best one is free and accessible online 24/7. I do have the first printing of this one though, and it'll be interesting to have an updated companion piece that's about twice as thick. I do with they'd update the cover though, that's the original one. Oevin February 14, 2008 Comment 2 They haven't released the cover, so I could only use the old cover. I expect the new cover to follow the recent trend and be much more ornate, flashy, and lively. Though I may wait for a price drop. Even though we have Wookieepedia, I'm still pumped about the Sanster making an update. There's something about having vast Star Wars knowledge at my fingertips that really summons the ole' Endorian Woody.
