The Trailer & Poster for Star Wars: The Clone Wars
With the films, we were shown how the Clone Wars began and how they ended. Quick one-liners hinted at personal relationships that the Jedi generals may have developed with the clones under their command, leaving us to wonder what experiences formed those bonds.
We were treated with short glimpses into the conflict through the Clone Wars animated series that aired on Cartoon Network between the theatrical releases of Episode 2 and Episode 3. They revealed powerful new enemies in the bounty hunter Dirge and the dark jedi Asajj Ventress. We even witnessed what became of Anakin's original prosthetic forearm and hand.
This August, we will be introduced to the Clone Wars in a new fashion. A two hour movie presented in stunning 3-D animation take us back to that galaxy far, far away. Today, Lucasfilm released the theatrical one-sheet of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, teasing fans with images of Skywalker and Kenobi back-to-back with Anakin's apprentice Ashoka at their side, along with an army of clones in the background. On Thursday the trailer will be unleashed at 7:58 pm on Cartoon Network, TNT, TBS, CNN, and Boomerang.

"We're incredibly proud of The Clone Wars, and eager to be able to showcase it for the first time in such an exciting way."
The newest tale of adventure, intrigue and excitement in a galaxy far, far away combines the legendary storytelling of Lucasfilm and the Star Wars Saga with a signature animation style from Lucasfilm Animation.
On the front lines of an intergalactic struggle between good and evil, fans young and old will join such favorite characters as Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padmé Amidala, along with brand-new heroes like Anakin's padawan learner, Ahsoka. Sinister villains -- led by Palpatine, Count Dooku and General Grievous -- are poised to rule the galaxy. Stakes are high, and the fate of the Star Wars universe rests in the hands of the daring Jedi Knights. Their exploits lead to the action-packed battles and astonishing new revelations that fill Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
The theatrical release of Star Wars: The Clone Wars tells an all-new story that leads directly in to this fall's premiere of a weekly, animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series on Cartoon Network, followed by airings on TNT.
