iam118 Comment 1 Now once you read the bit about Padme and C-3PO, doesn't that make you just want to punch Lucas in the face for taking it out?
Think about how that scene would have effected the whole saga, not only giving the prequels a little emotional depth they were lacking, but the fact that it would have effectively intertwined the depth of 3PO into the skywalker family. Anakin built him, but Padme effectively completed him. I think that could have been one of the most powerful moments of the prequels, its a shame it got pulled. I remember being pissed off when it wasn't included as a deleted scene on the DVD. CAndyman Comment 3 I know this is only in-directly related, but...
Anthony Daniels made an appearance at the Where Science Meets Imagination Exhibit's opening weekend, and Tom TK-118 from the Midwest Garrison traveled from Illinois to St Paul MN to wear his amazing C3PO costume in honor of Mr. Daniels' visit. When Anthony found out that a costumed C3PO would be there he told the Museum staff that he absolutely refused to be seen with C3PO and too keep that Costumer away from him at all times while he was in costume. I've always thought of Anthony Daniels as a very warm and friendly guy, but I was pretty put off by this, maybe there's more to the story than I know, but this just seemed incredibley rude to me. DarthDan Comment 4 That does sound strange... I'd like to think that there was some kind of ... explanation?
