Star Wars websites. Type those three words into a search engine these days and you're likely to be overwhelmed by the number of results. Star Wars toys? Yep, got them covered. Star Wars roleplaying? Uh huh, lots of that too. Star Wars news? Sure, there are millions of Star Wars websites out there, from kid-friendly Ewok shrines to erotic fiction featuring the latest Jedi love tricks. Fierfek, there's probably more online ink devoted to George Lucas' imagination than to the entire history of the conflict in the Middle East.
We looked at all these sites, and, while there's something for nearly everyone, we felt that something was missing -- namely professionally-realized original content, hosted on a site that is made by and for hardcore adult fans.
Here at SWAC, you'll find original articles detailing all of the latest Star Wars products, from novels, to comics, to games. What you won't find is payola marketing masquerading as online journalism. We don't get handouts from LucasFilm or any of the hundreds of Star Wars licensees. We buy and test all of the products featured in our articles in an effort to give you, the readers, an honest opinion (and hey, because we just dig Star Wars stuff!)
Additionally, SWAC brings you original content and attitude that no one else can. From our videos to our forthcoming cartoons and original fiction, our mission is to celebrate all that is great about Star Wars and make fun of all that isn't.

| | | | Daniel McFatter conceived of Star Wars Addiction in September of 2005, after perceiving the need for a fanzine that caters to adults. Dan was baptized into the world of Star Wars in 1986, when, while watching a video tape of old Disney cartoons and sitcom re-runs, he witnessed the snow crash dissolve from 1980s pop culture into the sterile white halls of Bespin, followed by Leia's feisty "...it's a trap!" Popsicle in hand, and mouth on the floor, a fanboy was born.
A veteran storyteller and roleplayer, Dan designed the elaborate Masters of the Prime tabletop campaign, launching it alongside the SWAC website and spearheading the creation of the news stories, original content, and discussion forums that comprise the current incarnation of StarWarsAddiction.com.
McFatter currently resides in Houston, Texas and works in the oil industry. When he's not master minding the latest SWAC swag, he enjoys photoshopping, creative writing, and online games. | | | | Jef Reahard joined SWAC shortly after its inception, and currently serves as the editorial voice of the site and lead content writer, as well as the resident rantmaster. Jef's Star Wars cherry was popped at the ripe old age of four, when he took his first step into a larger world by seeing A New Hope on the big screen in 1979.
A chance meeting in the Star Wars Galaxies MMORPG led to a strong friendship with McFatter, and the two are currently hard at work on a series of creative projects centered around StarWarsAddiction.com.
Reahard currently resides near Atlanta, Georgia where he works as a technology consultant. He has written for Vintage Airplane magazine and Ag-Cat International magazine and his poetry has appeared in the National Library of Poetry Anthologies and the Journal of Christian Poetry. When Jef is not reviewing Star Wars products, he enjoys flying classic aircraft, carpentry, creative writing, and gaming.
